1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg, slightly beaten*
1 box (1 lb.) powdered sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten*
1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
Preheat oven to 350 Deg. Combine cake mix, butter, and 1 egg and pat into a 9x13 dish. Mix 3 eggs and cream cheese, adding the powdered sugar last and blending thoroughly. Pour that on top of the crust mixture. Bake for 35-40 min, or until there's a nice, golden brown color on the top.
*The Quick Shake Container by Tupperware makes beating eggs quick and less messy. I have two and not only do I use them for beating eggs for cakes and brownies, I also use them for scrambled eggs, pudding, gravies, marinades and homemade dressings.
