Ingredients:
- 2/3 c sugar
- 2 T cocoa
- 1/4 c cornstarch
- 1/2 teas salt
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 T butter
- 1 T vanilla
Directions:
- Combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt in a medium saucepan.
- Blend milk and egg yolks. Gradually add to sugar mixture.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to boil.
- Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Mix in butter and vanilla.
- Pour into baked pie crust.
- Chill for whipped cream or cover with meringue and bake @ 400 deg for 10 minutes or until brown.
