More Cain on Israel
He has taken some hits for not knowing what the "Right to Return" is in Israel during his interview with Chris Wallace. Here is his whole interview and what he says about Israel. He gets it right. It's not the president's job to dictate to our allies what their borders are. Also, I would rather have a president who may not know all the nuances of terms in the Middle East than one who thinks we have 57 states in America.
Here is Cain talking to Hannity. He further explains his answer about the "Right of Return." He admits he didn't know the term, ~how refreshingly honest~ but reaffirms his support of Israel and their right to determine their own borders.

To Whom Does the Land of Israel Belong?
An Israeli Sense of Humor at United Nations set the record straight.
An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly and made the world community smile.
A representative from Israel began: ‘Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses: When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, “What a good opportunity to have a bath!”
Moses removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them!
The Palestinian representative at the UN jumped up furiously and shouted, “What are you talking about? The Palestinians weren’t there then.”
The Israeli representative smiled and said, “And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech.”
Tell It, Paul Ryan!
Leaders are elected to lead. I don't consult polls to tell me what my principles are or what our policies should be. Leaders change the polls, and we are leading in the House. We are not seeing this kind of leadership from the President of the United States. The Senate Democrats haven't even proposed or passed a budget for 753 days and we have a budget crisis. So, yes, we are going to lead and we are going to try and move these polls and change these polls, because that's what the country wants.

Mitch Daniels is Out.
"The answer is that I will not be a candidate. What could have been a complicated decision was in the end very simple: on matters affecting us all, our family constitution gives a veto to the women's caucus, and there is no override provision, he said."
Apparently, the women in his life don’t want the anal exam of the LSM.
Sharon at The Conservative Treehouse states it well.
If a man doesn’t dare run for president without his wife’s permission, and that declares that to be his dilemma, publicly, before getting her permission, it seems to me that such a man has already disqualified himself. Sheesh. I’m sure his wife is all sorts of grateful at being put in the position that she now occupies.
Sarah Palin and Herman Cain are the only potential candidates who have shown themselves to be men in this pre-primary nonsense. (I’m excluding Allen West because it seems he has excluded himself….)

It's Official! Herman Cain is In
I want a good competition for the Republican nomination. I want the candidates to state their ideas and vision and then convince me that they are Right for America. Having a couple of strong conservatives such as Herman Cain and Sarah Palin will drive the debate further on the issues that are important to America.
Herman Cain has an amazing story and solid business experience as an executive that turned around failing corporations. Cain is also a strong proponent of the Fair Tax ~I have long believed that a Sales Tax is a much fairer tax than an income tax. ~ I believe that Cain will run a campaign on ideas not personalities. He is not afraid to take on BO/BS.
Thank you, Mr. Cain for having the courage to fight for America. I can’t wait to see and hear more from you in the coming days.
The Cowardice of Harry Reid and the DemonRats
Why would Harry Reid ~and the DemonRats~ not want to offer a budget for 2012? What are they afraid of? Certainly the Constitution means nothing to them; seeing as one of Congress’s actual responsibilities is to pass a budget. Could it be that they can’t defend their spending and overreach of the federal government to the American people? Are they afraid that the American people actually are paying attention and that 2012 will be even more devastating to them than 2010? I’ve got news for you cowards; we are awake, paying attention and voting you out. You have lost by default.
The Republicans are courageously entering the debate by proposing actual fixes to entitlements that are broken. Harry Reid and the rest of you Demonrats: Man up and defend your spending!
The Cain Doctrine on Israel
Mr. Cain is an adult who understands the importance of America as a force for good in not only the Middle East, but the world.
A couple of quotes from Mr. Cain. on Israel.
BO/BS has "A disregard for Israel having the right to make it's own decisions." BO/BS criticized President Bush for trying to force his "will" on other countries; why does he think he should be able to tell Israel what to do?
The Cain Doctrine: "You mess with Israel; you are messing with the United States of America." Couldn't have said it better myself.
Can't wait to hear your announcement today.

Eye Pads for St. Louis Children's Hospital
Having been in the situation of having a child in the hospital for an extended period and meeting many families in the same boat, I want to do something special for the families of patients while in St. Louis and a friend suggested that I SPA them. I am going to treat them to BeautiControl's awesome Instant Manicure hand treatment, Nourishing Eye Pads, Lip Apeel lip treatment, and soothing Cooling Foot Salve.
To fund these spas; this weekend, I'm having the "Eye Pads for St. Louis Children's Hospital" event. All profits from BeautiControl orders thru Sunday, May 22 will go towards spa supplies for families of St. Louis Children's Hospital It's very traumatic to have a child in the hospital and I believe that by pampering some moms and family members, I can show the love of Christ right where God has put me.
Thank you for your prayers for my daughter and my family.
Have a Great Day!

Palin: My Top Pick
Sarah Palin, Leader of the Pack
So, who do I like as our Republican presidential candidate in 2012? Parodying the song recorded by The Shangri-Las: “The liberal media is always putting her down (down, down). They said, she came from the wrong said of town. They told us she was bad. Then I knew she was the best we had. That’s when I fell for the leader of the pack.” Who am I singing about? Obviously, the one and only Sarah Palin.
Folks, it is a bit too early to go “all in” on any presidential candidate. I really like Herman Cain. But when I think of the one person who appears to be uncontrolled by liberal media attacks; who epitomizes the kind of “in your face” no holds barred approach to attacking Obama’s horrific record, we tea party patriots are so desperately longing for, hands down, it is Sarah Palin.
I know. I know. Republican elites and conventional wisdom says, “Be reasonable. Palin is too toxic. She could never win. Pick an electable candidate like Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney.”
When Obamacare first became law, Huckabee said repealing it would be difficult. He suggested that we try to find some good in it. My mental buzzer went off, “Wrong answer”.
On Limbaugh’s radio program, Donald Trump cautioned Paul Ryan to work with the democrats and not be too aggressive about moving forward with his budget proposal. Again, Trump set off my buzzer, “Wrong answer”.
“Working with democrats” ALWAYS means compromising our values, principles and desires. We want conservative representatives with backbone in Washington fighting on our behalf. Yes, the liberal media will portray them as Satan incarnate. But, there’s a new sheriff in town called the Tea Party and we have our representatives’ backs.
As for Romney, I do not sense a fire in the belly of this man about standing up for conservatism or the Tea Party.
The liberal media is planning a sequel to the McCain/Obama race in which they picked our “moderate” losing candidate.
Once again, the liberal media is telling us who is “too Tea Party” to win and why we should pick a moderate to run against Obama in 2012. The title of the liberal media’s sequel is, “Sucker the Conservatives Two: This Time We Really Think You’re Stupid”.
Let me tell you what I think about moderates. Even Jesus had a problem with moderates. He said, “You are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold, I will spew you out of my mouth”. In other words, for crying out loud, have the backbone, character and conviction to take a stand for something. The liberal media wants to set us up with another moderate linguine to lose AGAIN!
The 2012 presidential election is going to be all about Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm! Thus, we need a candidate who understands this reality and will boldly go after Obama politically; someone with all American John Wayne true grit committed to tea party principles. So far, our John Wayne is a Momma Grizzly.
As I said, it is a bit too early to formally endorse anyone. Palin may or may not throw her hat into the ring.
Now, regarding the issues, Palin is pretty much on the same page as most of us tea party patriots; drill baby drill, smaller government and etc.
And once again, I must cite her boldness and confidence when espousing her conservative beliefs. You never see Palin dancing around questions from liberal media hacks trying to make her conservative ideas sound mean, heartless, stupid and racist. It is extremely refreshing and encouraging to see someone on our side fearlessly challenging the liberal media!
And what about presidential charisma? In my nationwide travels on four Tea Party Express tours, in which Palin participated, nobody sparked excitement nor struck a stronger emotional chord with audiences at the rallies than Sarah Palin. She is a rock star. The people love her.
I pray that whomever we select as our presidential candidate will grasp the seriousness of the situation in which we find our country. Various potential republican presidential candidates are good people with great conservative ideas to get our country back on track. The most important criteria for a candidate to win my support is a willingness to launch a shock and awe all out assault on Obama’s horrific record and terrifying agenda.
Obama has the bully pulpit of the Oval Office, his democrat minions, racist black so-called civil rights groups and a sycophant liberal mainstream media all working in concert for him to be reelected in 2012. America can not survive another republican presidential candidate committed to “playing nice” for fear of being called racist. As they say in AA, “Half measures avail us nothing”.
If Obama is reelected in 2012, America as we know it is over. King Obama must be politically dethroned.

Steve Cohen: Take lessons from Allen West

The Religion of Peace?
A day after dozens were seriously injured in the latest spate of clashes between Muslims and Coptic Christians here, thousands of Christians on Sunday defied the request of the community’s leader to lift a sit-in demonstration.
Witnesses said the clashes began late Saturday after snipers opened fire from locations across the Nile River on Christians who have been camped outside the main state television building for nearly a week to demand better protection from the government.
Tensions between Muslims and Coptic Christians, who make up roughly 10 percent of the country’s population, date back decades. But the turmoil was kept largely under wraps by the police state that ceased to be when President Hosni Mubarak was forced to step down.
The nominal source of the recent violence was the case of a Coptic woman who reportedly converted to Islam to be with a man she loved. Coptic leaders who were attempting to prevent her from leaving the church came under attack by Muslims. Such cases of alleged forced conversion have become controversial in Egypt in recent years because the Coptic Church and many Muslim leaders frown upon mixed marriages.

Sarah Palin on Newt
While Newt is not my first choice, I am all for competition. One of the many reasons that Sarah Palin is my 1st choice for 2012 is because she is not afraid of competition. She is a staunch believer in capitalism and free markets ~which has at its core, competition~. She’s not afraid of other presidential candidates; in fact, she embraces them. This is what she had to say Wednesday night, May 11,2011 on FoxNews “On the Record”
Around 7:10:
“The more competition, the better. We need vigorous debate in a Primary.”
Around 9:00:
“Competition breeds success. Competition is good for all of us; in business, in politics. The more the merrier in a Primary.”
Notice, she didn't bash Newt. She welcomed him into the fray as do I. Welcome Newt!

Sarah Palin: Calling Out the Thug-in-Chief
by Sarah Palin
President Obama has the opportunity to prove that he cares about keeping jobs for working class families in America. He can speak up about his appointees at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) who have their boots on The Boeing Company’s neck. Does the President support the rights of businesses and working class people in right-to-work states to make sound decisions without government regulatory agencies unfairly punishing them?
Does the President realize the real concern here is not that businesses will choose to locate in one state over another? It’s that businesses will choose to locate in other countries because thanks to the Obama administration’s job killing policies and over-reaching regulatory boards the business climate in the United States is growing toxic. South Carolina’s Senator Jim DeMint reminded President Obama that the President said in his State of the Union address: “We have to make America the best place on Earth to do business.” I agree with this sentiment, Mr. President. If we want to keep good paying jobs for working class families in the United States then you shouldn’t pit South Carolina against Washington state because eventually every state will suffer when businesses declare “enough is enough” with these tactics and decide to relocate in more business-friendly countries
One of the many examples of why Sarah Palin terrifies Leftist Oppressives.
I'm for a Moat
A moat with ‘gators and ‘crocs sounds good to me or as a Gracie D ~a Cajun commenter @ The Conservative TreeHouse ~ suggests; “How about a rattlesnake pit along the border?”

Bring it On!
So far, only three have declared; Gary Johnson, Fred Karger and Tom Miller, ~Newt has announced that he will announce on Wednesday, May 11, 2011; but most likely, the field will get much larger. Mitt Romney is buying ads for every probable candidate name on ask.com as is Michele Bachmann. The Donald says he will announce a decision before June. There’s a push to get Ron Paul to run again. Mike Huckabee, Tim Pawlenty, and Mitch Daniels are most likely running as well.
My number one choice is Sarah Palin. See here for specifics; however, I welcome the debate among the candidates. Let’s have the different candidates talk about their issues; defend and debate them. Competition is a good thing. It makes for better products and services. It’s better for the consumer. While there are certain candidates that I would have to hold my nose to vote for, I'm all for getting their ideas and values into the marketplace.
Let the competition begin!
Update:
The Donald has said he's not running for POTUS and Newt has announced that he is.

Think $4 Gas is Bad; Hang onto your Hat
Remember during the campaign of 2008 when BO/BS said that “under his plan, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.” Well, even though Cap and Tax has been defeated ~for now~ BO/BS’s plan B is using the EPA to do the same thing.
From Investors.com
After an investment of $250 million in the mountain-top mining operation, which when fully operational would have employed 215 miners directly and 300 indirect jobs in support services, it was ordered to shut down. These were, no pun intended, "shovel-ready" jobs.
The EPA is currently suspending 79 such surface mining permits in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee. It says these permits could violate the Clean Water Act and warrant "enhanced" review. EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson says she's not against coal mining, but wants to see it "done in a way that minimizes impact to water quality."
Here is what the EPA is doing to shut down oil drilling in Alaska: from FoxNews.com
EPA Rules Force Shell to Abandon Oil Drilling Plans
Shell Oil Company has announced it must scrap efforts to drill for oil this summer in the Arctic Ocean off the northern coast of Alaska. The decision comes following a ruling by the EPA’s Environmental Appeals Board to withhold critical air permits. The move has angered some in Congress and triggered a flurry of legislation aimed at stripping the EPA of its oil drilling oversight.
Shell has spent five years and nearly $4 billion dollars on plans to explore for oil in the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas. The leases alone cost $2.2 billion.
Not only are they intent on shutting down oil production in the Gulf and Alaska, they are now targeting oil drilling in west Texas.
From Michael Williams
Texas Jobs vs. Lizards
I like the GEICO Gecko. You know, he’s the little green lizard that has become an award-winning force in TV advertising helping people find outstanding value on insurance. The commercial’s memorable tagline probably explains it best when the GEICO Gecko says, “My job is saving people money. I love my job.”
Maybe that explains the Obama administration’s plans to put the “Dunes Sagebrush Lizard” or sand dune lizard, on the endangered species list, effectively halting oil and gas production in west Texas, the heart of U.S. oil and gas production. Possibly the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service really intended to put a hedge around the GEICO Gecko so the Gecko could continue being the ambassador of great customer service, quick rate quotes and savings. Perhaps the Feds got the GEICO Gecko mixed up with the sand dune lizard.
Otherwise the Fed’s decision makes no sense. And the sad irony is adding the sand dune lizard to the endangered species list will hurt Texas businesses, cost Texans jobs and money, and further weaken American economic and energy security. At the absolute worst possible time as gasoline prices rise just before summertime.
The Permian Basin in West Texas is currently the largest oil play in the United States today, producing more than 268 million barrels of oil in 2010. At the current price of $112 per barrel, that’s more than $30 billion worth of oil, or 74% of Texas’ production. And that’s just for the crude, not accounting for the tens of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars to our economy related to oil and gas production, including oilfield service, pipelines, and other industries.
Texas remains the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the country. The sand dune lizard lives in the heart of the oil and natural gas rich Permian Basin. Applying federal endangered species protection to the sand dune lizard will kill jobs and paralyze Texas production activities precisely when Texans are looking at $4.00 gasoline, which could rise even higher. If I didn’t know better, I’d think President Obama is actually trying to see what $5 gasoline looks like.
It is inconceivable when America is importing 72% of its oil from foreign countries sending them nearly $40B per month — and after the Obama administration has imposed an illegal moratorium on offshore drilling, curtailed exploration in the ANWAR, the Rockies and off the east and west coasts — that the administration would adopt still another policy which will discourage and hamper American oil and natural gas exploration and production. In addition to finally releasing his birth certificate, he needs to release more American oil and natural gas into the market.
To borrow from another GEICO commercial, it’s so easy a Caveman can understand it.
The environmentalists are trying to do to west Texas what they've done to the California farmer. From the American Spectator
In 2007, U.S. district judge Oliver Wanger ruled that the pumping that annually sent about 6 million acre-feet of water to Kern County and beyond was threatening the delta smelt's existence by disrupting water flows for the fall spawning season. Citing the protections accorded by the Endangered Species Act, he ordered pumping for agricultural uses curtailed by one-third until the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service could evaluate the situation. After studying the issue for more than a year, the USFWS determined last December that pumping by the SWP and CVP "was likely to jeopardize the continued existence of the delta smelt and adversely modify its critical habitat." The agency issued plans to keep Judge Wanger's restrictions in place. According to Tulare County supervisor Allen Ishida, "California was forced to let 660,000 acrefeet of its freshwater supplies run out to the ocean. That was enough water to supply the entire Silicon Valley for two years."
The result of these irrigation pump shutdowns is that hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland are being forced out of production. Kern County authorities estimated that 145,000 of the 850,000 acres that are typically irrigated were idled or under-irrigated last year. The loss was pegged at $100 million in the county alone. A study by UC-Davis estimated San Joaquin Valley farm revenue losses to range from $482 million to $647 million. Total California agricultural economic losses could hit $3 billion this year.
But those are just abstract financial numbers. Behind those figures are real people, farmers and business owners and families who are losing livelihoods and are being forced to uproot and flee. The UC-Davis study conservatively suggested 24,000 to 32,000 Central Valley jobs were destroyed by environmental rulings designed to protect endangered wildlife. It further estimated job losses could approach 80,000 or more if restrictions intensified. Communities are withering for a government-imposed lack of water. It is little exaggeration to say that the farmers of the most valuable farming region in the nation are facing extinction.
What makes it really hypocritical is that BO/BS is financing oil drilling in Brazil. From The Wall Street Journal
Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling
You read that headline correctly. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration is financing oil exploration off Brazil.
The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.
The U.S. Export-Import Bank tells us it has issued a "preliminary commitment" letter to Petrobras in the amount of $2 billion and has discussed with Brazil the possibility of increasing that amount. Ex-Im Bank says it has not decided whether the money will come in the form of a direct loan or loan guarantees. Either way, this corporate foreign aid may strike some readers as odd, given that the U.S. Treasury seems desperate for cash and Petrobras is one of the largest corporations in the Americas.
Kind of makes one go hmmmmmmmmmm. Don't tell me that the BO/BS administration and the demonrats aren/t trying to destroy the U.S. economy.
Have you had enough Change yet?

Thank You BO/BS
Rush, as usual, puts it so well.

S.I.N.
Shift the Subject
Ignore the Facts
Name Call
Today I had an old friend post a pic on Facebook with the caption: “Sorry it took so long to get you a copy of my birth certificate. I was too busy killing Osama Bin Laden.
My comment was along the lines of Thank you BO/BS for continuing the policies of President Bush and not closing Guantanamo which made the death of Bin Laden possible. I confess I didn’t think to copy and paste it because I didn’t think it would be deleted. Following is our exchange.
Friend: "Your comment has so much wrong with it... I'm just going to delete it. Point is -- your guy couldn't get Osama. Period."
Me: "So set me straight with the truth. Afraid some of your lefty friends would agree with me?" This comment was deleted
Friend: "Truth is... the WORST terrorist attack on America in history happened on Bush's watch! Why? Because he IGNORED the intelligence given to him by the departing Clinton administration. Bush administration was WARNED in August 2001 that Bin Laden was determined to strike the U.S. with our own domestic airliners, but he couldn't be bothered because he was on vacation in Crawford at the time. Had he paid attention, (2) unnecessary wars and countless thousands of American soldiers' lives could have been saved."
Me: "So you are a Truther, I guess. It's all Bush's fault. You are right. It is Bush's fault that because of his policies there was not another major attack on US soil. There have been many attempted since BO/BS was immaculated and it was God's grace that they were unsuccessful. As far as BO/BS promising to kill Bin Laden, do you really think that he would secure defeat while POTUS? That's why he didn't close Guantanamo Bay like he signed an executive order his first week in office." Again deleted
Friend: "As long as you disrepectfully refer to the President by anything other than his actual name, your comments will be deleted. You will pay him the proper respect of his actual name at the very least if posting on my wall."
Me: "His name is Barack Obama/Barry Sotero isn't it? You do remember that he was adopted by Lolo Sotero when his mom married him and moved to Indonesia." Once again deleted
He then proceeded to delete all my comments.
Friend: "You're so full of b.s. as I figured."
To which I replied: "Do you really not know he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro and lived in Indinosesia? He went by Barry Soetoro ~sorry I misspelled it earlier~ into his 20's. When did he legally change his name back to BO?"
I’m expecting it to be deleted by the time I return from picking up from dialysis. I think I may get de-friended over this. Hahaha
I returned and indeed he had deleted my comment. Here is what he deleted my comments with: “Spread your lies and rumors elsewhere,”
Then he and a couple of his friends started singing the praises of BO/BS.
My next comment ~which I expect to be deleted within minutes: “So sure of your opinions that you delete my comments huh? Can't defend your positions, so you hit delete. Don't get me wrong, I'd delete dissenting comments too if I couldn't defend myself.”
Friend: "I can defend everything I say. I delete your remarks because you are not using proper respect towards the President. If you can't deal with that, then move on."
Me: "No Friend, it’s called S.I.N. ~the tactic that you liberals use~ Shift the subject; Ignore the Facts; and Name Call. I’m surprised you haven’t called me racist yet. You haven’t answered my question yet about Barry Soetoro; well actually you have by deleting my comments."
Me: "You need to do a little research of your own on your beloved President if you don't know that he was adopted by Lolo Soetero and lived in Indonesia."
Friend: "You can stop spouting your right wing conspiracy crap here. Your so-called "lack of American citizenship" was debunked this week, but you may not have heard since you only listen to your right wing propaganda."
Me: "ahhh, Shift the Subject: BO being adopted and registered as Barry Soetoro while in school in Indonesia has nothing to do with where he was born. Good try though."
I was just defriended by him. hahahahaha
