More Cain on Israel

This past weekend, Herman Cain announced his candidacy for POTUS. He is one of my top choices for 2012. I like his business experience and his no-nonsense style.

He has taken some hits for not knowing what the "Right to Return" is in Israel during his interview with Chris Wallace. Here is his whole interview and what he says about Israel. He gets it right. It's not the president's job to dictate to our allies what their borders are. Also, I would rather have a president who may not know all the nuances of terms in the Middle East than one who thinks we have 57 states in America.

Here is Cain talking to Hannity. He further explains his answer about the "Right of Return." He admits he didn't know the term, ~how refreshingly honest~ but reaffirms his support of Israel and their right to determine their own borders.

An Israeli Sense of Humor at United Nations set the record straight.

An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly and made the world community smile.

A representative from Israel began: ‘Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses: When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, “What a good opportunity to have a bath!”

Moses removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them!

The Palestinian representative at the UN jumped up furiously and shouted, “What are you talking about? The Palestinians weren’t there then.”

The Israeli representative smiled and said, “And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech.”

Tell It, Paul Ryan!

Leaders are elected to lead. I don't consult polls to tell me what my principles are or what our policies should be. Leaders change the polls, and we are leading in the House. We are not seeing this kind of leadership from the President of the United States. The Senate Democrats haven't even proposed or passed a budget for 753 days and we have a budget crisis. So, yes, we are going to lead and we are going to try and move these polls and change these polls, because that's what the country wants.

"The answer is that I will not be a candidate. What could have been a complicated decision was in the end very simple: on matters affecting us all, our family constitution gives a veto to the women's caucus, and there is no override provision, he said."

Apparently, the women in his life don’t want the anal exam of the LSM.

If a man doesn’t dare run for president without his wife’s permission, and that declares that to be his dilemma, publicly, before getting her permission, it seems to me that such a man has already disqualified himself. Sheesh. I’m sure his wife is all sorts of grateful at being put in the position that she now occupies.

Sarah Palin and Herman Cain are the only potential candidates who have shown themselves to be men in this pre-primary nonsense. (I’m excluding Allen West because it seems he has excluded himself….)

It's Official! Herman Cain is In

I want a good competition for the Republican nomination. I want the candidates to state their ideas and vision and then convince me that they are Right for America. Having a couple of strong conservatives such as Herman Cain and Sarah Palin will drive the debate further on the issues that are important to America.

Herman Cain has an amazing story and solid business experience as an executive that turned around failing corporations. Cain is also a strong proponent of the Fair Tax ~I have long believed that a Sales Tax is a much fairer tax than an income tax. ~ I believe that Cain will run a campaign on ideas not personalities. He is not afraid to take on BO/BS.

The Cowardice of Harry Reid and the DemonRats

Not only did the Demonrats lack the courage to defend their spending spree by not passing a Federal budget for 2011, now they are taking their cowardice one step further with Harry Reid saying “It would be foolish for us to do a budget at this stage.”

Why would Harry Reid ~and the DemonRats~ not want to offer a budget for 2012? What are they afraid of? Certainly the Constitution means nothing to them; seeing as one of Congress’s actual responsibilities is to pass a budget. Could it be that they can’t defend their spending and overreach of the federal government to the American people? Are they afraid that the American people actually are paying attention and that 2012 will be even more devastating to them than 2010? I’ve got news for you cowards; we are awake, paying attention and voting you out. You have lost by default.

The Republicans are courageously entering the debate by proposing actual fixes to entitlements that are broken. Harry Reid and the rest of you Demonrats: Man up and defend your spending!

The Cain Doctrine on Israel

Today, Herman Cain is having a big announcement where most likely he will announce his candidacy for POTUS. He is one of my top picks. I can't wait for debates with Mr. Cain and the rest of the Republican field.



Mr. Cain is an adult who understands the importance of America as a force for good in not only the Middle East, but the world.

A couple of quotes from Mr. Cain. on Israel.

BO/BS has "A disregard for Israel having the right to make it's own decisions." BO/BS criticized President Bush for trying to force his "will" on other countries; why does he think he should be able to tell Israel what to do?

The Cain Doctrine: "You mess with Israel; you are messing with the United States of America." Couldn't have said it better myself.
