Join the Twitter Tea Party Rally
I don't know about you, but I can't make it to D.C. in person this weekend to let the CongressCritters in D.C. know what my position is on them borrowing more money that my kids and grand-kids will have to repay. That is why I'm joining the Twitter Tea Party Rally this Weekend. If you tweet, I encourage you to make your voice heard.
The national credit card maxed out. The DemonRats and BO/BS have added $2.9 Trillion to the national debt in 2 years ~with a projected deficit of an additional $1.65 Trillion this year~ and still haven't presented a budget for 2012; yet now they want Americans to believe that "supposedly" cutting $1.5 Trillion in the next 10 years ~hello, that's less than the deficit is this year~ while increasing taxes immediately is fiscal responsibility? History has shown that tax increases DON'T = increased tax receipts to the government. Taxpayers send enough $$$ to D.C. The problem is SPENDING. D.C.ers are spending addicts and they are shopping with our money. It's got to stop. We the people sent a huge message last November; but apparently the DemonRats didn't get the message. Let them Hear US Again; this weekend.

The Left Stream Media won't tell the truth, so our next President Sarah Palin does:
After listening to the President’s press conference today, let’s keep in mind the following:
This is the same president who proposed an absurdly irresponsible budget that would increase our debt by trillions of dollars, and whose party failed to even put forward a budget in over 800 days! This is the same president who is pushing our country to the brink because of his reckless spending on things like the nearly trillion dollar “stimulus” boondoggle. This is the same president who ignored his own debt commission’s recommendations and demonized the voices of fiscal sanity who proposed responsible plans to reform our entitlement programs and rein in our dangerous debt trajectory. This is the same president who wanted to push through an increase in the debt ceiling that didn’t include any cuts in government spending! This is the same president who wants to slam Americans with tax hikes to cover his reckless spending, but has threatened to veto a bill proposing a balanced budget amendment. This is the same president who hasn’t put forward a responsible plan himself, but has rejected reasonable proposals that would tackle our debt. This is the same president who still refuses to understand that the American electorate rejected his big government agenda last November. As I said in Madison, Wisconsin, at the Tax Day Tea Party rally, “We don’t want it. We can’t afford it. And we are unwilling to pay for it.”
Now the President is outraged because the GOP House leadership called his bluff and ended discussions with him because they deemed him an obstruction to any real solution to the debt crisis.
He has been deemed a lame duck president. And he is angry now because he is being treated as such.
His foreign policy strategy has been described as “leading from behind.” Well, that’s his domestic policy strategy as well. Why should he be surprised that he’s been left behind in the negotiations when he’s been leading from behind on this debt crisis?
Thank you, GOP House leaders. Please don’t get wobbly on us now.

Fire Up the Faxes:
It’s time for D.C. politicians to live within their means just like regular Americans. It’s time to Cut spending, Cap how much the government can spend and Balance the budget. The time for political games and compromise is over. $14 Trillion is too much. Why have a debt limit if it gets raised every time the politicians in D.C. can’t discipline themselves or want to bribe constituents.
We the People spoke last November and spoke pretty loudly. Business as usual in D.C. must stop. It’s time for D.C. to put their big girl panties on and do some hard work. The Left Stream Media isn’t going to like them, but they weren’t sent to D.C. to be popular with the media and be invited to cocktail parties. They were sent to D.C. to represent the American people and uphold the Constitution. It’s time for them to do their job.
No compromise. Take a few lessons from true public servants like Scott Walker and John Kasich. They actually stood their ground and won. Take a lesson from Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell. It’s time to make real cuts in government and not just limits on how much it grows. For a start, they could go back to 2006 levels; then start looking at whole programs and depts. that are unconstitutional and that can be cut.
We the People are watching. We are awake and informed. Be afraid of us, not the Left Stream Media. We are your boss. You answer to us. You cave; you are fired.
Winners don’t compromise. Start acting like winners.

Steve Cohen; Can't Handle Questions
First my comment on his FB page:
"How big of you to vote to reduce the deficit by $66 Billion when you have INCREASED it over $4.8 Trillion since you've been in D.C. You could eliminate the Defense Budget and still only reduce the deficit by 1/3.
"How is having to show ID to vote stripping anyone of their constitutional right to vote? Your voters can keep track of the EBT cards, why not a photo ID?"
Since he never answered, I tweeted him these:
I went to add CongressCritter Cohen to a list on Twitter and found that I was no longer following him and couldn't add him again. I got a message saying that my account may not be able to perform this action. He has blocked me. I challenge him on his views and instead of answering and trying to persuade me, he blocks me, a constituent. I have met Congressman Cohen and he is arrogant, but this is both sad and funny.
It is indicative of many in D.C. ~most of whom are DemonRats~ they know better than us "common folk" who make this country work. Well, the 2010 elections have started draining the swamp in D.C and next November, there will be an even bigger draining of the swamp. Elite CongressCritters like Steve Cohen will need to find a real job.

Economic Terrorism by BO/BS
This week BO/BS used CBS to deliver a threat to the Republicans. He told CBS in an interview that he couldn't guarantee that Social Security checks or military checks would go out without a deal to borrow more money by August 3, 2011. Not only is it BS and fear mongering, it is also a complete lie.
First, the truth is that Fed revenues for this year will be $2.17 Trillion and interest payments are $205 Billion. Now I'm not a Harvard Law grad, but I know that leaves $1.9 Trillion for Congress to spend. Social Security is $741 Billion with Medicare @ $488 Billion. Again, not a Harvard Law grad, but that = $1.2 Trillion which unless you went to MCS, is less than $1.9 Trillion. If the Treasury Dept chooses to pay the EPA, HHS, Treasury, Energy, Interior and Education instead of Social Security, then place blame where it rightly belongs on BO/BS. Also remember, that it's the Hellcare Bill that cuts $500 Billion from Medicare.
These facts underscore the reality, that the federal government is tooo big. The DemonRats have added over $5 Trillion to the National Debt in 3 years. Their only plan is to scare the elderly so they can stay in power. Again, Economic Terrorism.
Paul Ryan and the Republicans have a plan to save Social Security and Medicare w/o affecting the current recipients. But what is the DemonRats plan? They have none. They haven't even proposed a budget in 2 years. I am in my 40's. I am under no illusions that all the money that I've paid into Social Security will be there when I retire.
Here's a video where the Social Security chief actuary confirms that if Social Security checks are withheld on August 3, 2011 as BO/BS is threatening, the decision would be made by the Treasury Dept i.e. BO/BS.
It's the same old playbook from the DemonRats. Call their bluff. We, the American People, are awake and watching. We can't afford the out of control spending of the DemonRats. They must be stopped. Hold fast Speaker Boehner, Mr. Cantor and the rest of the elected Republicans in D.C. We'll be sending reinforcements next year.
